I'm really enjoying making shaped cards at the moment. I've just finished creating these two for Halloween!
They always take longer than you'd expect but they're well worth it!

They always take longer than you'd expect but they're well worth it!
My next shaped card is Rudolph. He's a mixture of several patterns. He's a good start to Christmas this year!
I think hed be quite a good card for a man. Not always easy to find one of those!
I love making shaped cards! Many of them are taken from sewing patterns I've had given to me in the past. Here is my latest one.
I think they're really cute!
I made this card to celebrate my daughter, Helens, 35th birthday. Can't believe 35 years have passed since she was born! Anyway, here it is..
I don't stamp very often but I really love this image from Pink Ink designs! It was a good opportunity to make something special with it myself.
These are my first Christmas cards for 2022.
They have been made from decoupage papers and as the pattern is quite deep I'm going to make boxes for them too.
I wanted to make some simple portrait style cards for Autumn in decoupage. These are the result...
I think they look really classy!
Here are cards for August...one for sams birthday, one for Sam and David's "leather" Anniversary and one for Alice's 2nd birthday.
I really don't like making shaker cards but this one wasn't too bad once I mastered the beads!
I was quite pleased with the finished result but I'm in no rush to do another!
It doesn't seem a year since Elliot and Amelia celebrated their last birthdays but they're around again!
Here are this years cards. Both pieced to some degree but with a very different theme.
Found a tutorial on the net for these trendy handbags. Really love them!
I shared the pattern with a friend of mine. She's decided to do one for all the family at Christmas!
After searching the net for ideas I made these garden gnomes.
I thought they'd really be something different for fathers day!
When you buy a pack of papers there's often a striped one in it that you don't know what to do with. I'd got a couple like this and decided to make bargello style cards from them. This is the result.
I particularly like the sentiment on the lower one. I think it could be used for all sorts of things!
As fathers day approaches I'm busy making cards for the occasion. Here are 2 I've already finished.
This is just the beginning. There'll be a few more yet!
I found this pattern from a magazine I had ages ago and just couldn't resist making it up again!
She's such a foxy lady!
I had inspiration for these cards from an easter ornament I found on the net.
They were just right for my daughters!
When I was surfing the net looking for a different card idea I discovered this. Its much easier than it looks!
Here are 2 of my grandchildren all ready for World book day. Aways good fun and they love dressing up!
Amelia was Thing 1 from Cat in the Hat by Dr Seuss and Elliot dressed as Grandpa from Grandpa's Great escape by David Walliams.
It's ages since I last made one of these and I really enjoyed trying it out again!
The stamp is by Woodware and its called On the mend. (Number GRCL217).
I'm really determined to use up some of my stash of papers this year! To that end, I made this floating gatefold card using some old Dovecraft papers.
The card is held closed with a belly band but when it's opened the 2 sections inside the centre slide across. I think its really pretty and quite easy to do!
I made a smaller version later because I loved the card so much!
It's always nice to make something different and to that end I made this card.
It's called a Tee pee card and is a sort of triangular pyramid shape. I decorated it with red and white gingham paper and origami hearts.
Although it's a 3d structure it folds down and fits flat into an envelope.
It's quite some time since I made any beaded cards and that may be the reason why I enjoyed making these so much!
Sometimes the older ideas are the best!!
I wanted to start the new year with something different so I chose feathers as a theme.
For the black card I made the feathers myself using patterns from the Internet. I found the inspiration for the card on pinterest.
The stamped card was made using an image from a magazine. I coloured it with pencils then added gems to embelish it. I like to use a hexagonal card occasionally as it makes a nice change from a square one.
Finally I made a small rocker card from circles.
I always think its hard to leave a rocking card alone!
My Grand-daughter Rose was 18 in December too. Here is the card I made for her:
