Floating gate fold card

I'm really determined to use up some of my stash of papers this year! To that end, I made this floating gatefold card using some old Dovecraft papers.

The card is held closed with a belly band but when it's opened the 2 sections inside the centre slide across. I think its really pretty and quite easy to do! 

I made a smaller version later because I loved the card so much!

Valentine tee pee card

 It's always nice to make something different and to that end I made this card. 

It's called a Tee pee card and is a sort of triangular pyramid shape. I decorated it with red and white gingham paper and origami hearts. 

Although it's a 3d structure it folds down and fits flat into an envelope.
