Flag card

 This is my flag shaped card, which stands on delicate pointed ends. It's my second butterfly card for July. 

Butterflies for July 2024

 July should be a month for butterflies so I've created this box shaped card. 

I hope it looks like the butterflies are flying over the flower bed! 

Side easel card

 Lovely to use the Katy Sue papers that were originally craft creations. Nice that this is die cut too! 

I think this is a really pretty special occasion card. It says Happy Birthday inside.

Morning Glory

 I made this card using an embroidery pattern turned into prick and stitch. It was coloured with permanent markers and mounted on a 7" X 7" card blank.

Although it was quite a complicated design I think it was worth it in the end!

Decoupage swallows

 Summer is here once more so it's nice to celebrate it with a seasonal card! 

This paper is by Joanna Sheen...sadly difficult to obtain nowadays! 

Floating card

 

This week's project is a floating card made with a cake cutting die. The image is stuck to acetate and then to the card Matt on 3d pads to give the floating effect. 

Mixed media cards

 I really like to make mixed media cards....the ones where different art forms are bought together to make a card. 

The top 2 cards were made by combining some clear stamped images with cross stitch on plastic canvas. 

The bottom image is cross stitch on plastic canvas Matt and layered and mounted on a patterned card. 

I think these cards are really different from the ones I've made before so I'll probably make some more some time!

Summer strawberries

 I found something similar to this on the net and really loved the design! 

It's s so fresh and seasonal. The original was a shaker card but I made mine flatter for posting...always a consideration nowadays!
