I'm not usually a fan of toppers because I don't know what the do with them but this year I was determined to try.
This is the result....
Of course it helps when you have matching papers too!

I've always loved these cards but have realised they're best if you tweek the sizes a bit to make sure the insert fits properly. Anyway...this is the finished result...
Here are 3 eclipse cards that I have made for Christmas.
The first 2 were made using a cutting die with no cutting edges. The Christmas tree was made with a different die WITH a cutting edge. The image was reintroduced and I had to cut the spaces by hand which was much more labour intensive. I'm pleased with the way the all turned out though!
Here are 2 more snowmen ideas...one is a card and the other a decoration.
The card lies flat and becomes 3d when the panels at the back are bent into a book shape.
Here are 2 mixed media snowmen cards. I chose the thread colours to match those in the decoupage. Think they turned out well.
It's nice to go backwards now and again and revisit an old project. These are trees made in an iris style but with no central point. I think they're really effective.
This year is Helen and Ben's 10th Anniversary! It's tin so I sent for a special stamp. I was really pleased with the card and I think it turned out well!
Here are 2 risqué cards for Xmas. Naughty but nice!
Managed to make a pattern from a drawing that I saw...there's nothing on the back!
Every year I'm asked to make a card for Sarah who works in a laboratory. This is what I made this year.
When it gets to this time of year the orders for Xmas cards start to come in. Here's some of the first...
Just wanted a little something that moved and this was it!
It's very easy to make and will rock to and fro. ( It works better with a "w" shaped strip between the front and back of the card)
Last week I made a telescopic snowman with my group which was finished off pretty quickly so this week I wanted something a bit more time consuming!
...and it would've taken them longer to make if I hadn't don't all of the die cutting! Think it's pretty though.
Sammy, a friend of mine is into her steam punk so I'm hoping this card fits the ticket. All of the pieces are cut and applied separately so it can be a bit fiddly.
Hope she'll like it!
It was Helen's birthday yesterday and I bought a flower die especially for the occasion. I'd seen an example of the card I wanted to make on the net and made something similar.
I created the background by flicking acrylic paint at the card. It was what I had at hand! The flowers are made using a stitching die which I really love.
Here are a few more cards made for autumn .. the most colourful time of the year!
The ones on the he left are tent cards and those on the right are made from papers by dolly doodles.
It's getting nearer to Christmas (card wise) but before it descends I wanted to make something with an autumnal feel. This Toadstool fit the bill..
I've made others in the past but they still enjoy doing them. Wonder who lives there?
It's Sam and David's 6th Anniversary in August. ( Sugar this time. This stamp seemed appropriate...
Hope they'll like it!
Our youngest granddaughter loves anything pretty and sparkly so I make this unicorn card for her 5th birthday. Hope it fits the bill!
