I had inspiration for these cards from an easter ornament I found on the net.
They were just right for my daughters!
When I was surfing the net looking for a different card idea I discovered this. Its much easier than it looks!
Here are 2 of my grandchildren all ready for World book day. Aways good fun and they love dressing up!
Amelia was Thing 1 from Cat in the Hat by Dr Seuss and Elliot dressed as Grandpa from Grandpa's Great escape by David Walliams.
It's ages since I last made one of these and I really enjoyed trying it out again!
The stamp is by Woodware and its called On the mend. (Number GRCL217).
I'm really determined to use up some of my stash of papers this year! To that end, I made this floating gatefold card using some old Dovecraft papers.
The card is held closed with a belly band but when it's opened the 2 sections inside the centre slide across. I think its really pretty and quite easy to do!
I made a smaller version later because I loved the card so much!
