Mini cross stitch

My daughter Sam and her students are opening a cafe later this month. I wanted to make something to mark the occasion and also to have a go at miniature cross stitch. 

I found this cafe pattern on the net which was really ideal? 

I put a piece of card in the base but the walls were quite rounded. I enjoyed making it but I'm in no rush to do another just yet!
