Pop up santa ( class19)

This week we made a sort of pop out card featuring Santa's legs sticking out of a chimney! Although  some of it was quite fiddly it was well worth the effort.

We just had to make sure that it fitted into the envelope when it was finished...you CAN get a bit carried away!

A couple of birthdays...

Here are 2 birthday cards I made recently. The first was for Lucie. I wanted to try this technique and think the card turned out ok.

The second card was for Susan ( Paul's sister) she's a keen gardener so I made an easel card with a greenhouse on it. The paper was from Katie Sue designs.

Helen's birthday (39)

Here is the card specially created for Helen's birthday. I tried to add all of the things that she likes!

Sam's birthday. (41)

This year I wanted to create a card for Sam with all of the things she likes the most. This was what I ended up with and I felt it was just right!

Sam and David's anniversary

It was Sam and David's 7 th Anniversary this year. Its wool but Paul thought I said wood and bought wooden bowls! Sam liked them though so that was ok.

My card offering was this one created using gpt and with help from Emily.

Autumn cards

Sometimes I get so bogged down with Xmas preparation that I forget how much I enjoy autumn cards! Here are a few I've made for this season!

Pola Bears

Here is another 3d card that sits flat in an envelope.

This time I die cut the images and coloured them in. I was really pleased with the finished effect and managed to use all 3 bears!

Balcony card ( class 18)

Sometimes it's nice to make a flat card that displays as a 3d one and balcony cards are just the thing!

This one is based on a card I found on the net. I used a  stamp set with little gnomes which were ideal for this size of card. I added some trees at the back to enhance the 3d look.

Community fair October 2026

This is the month to begin selling Xmas cards  (hopefully) and I've been working really hard on my collection this year! Here are some of them...

Some of them are completely flat for cheaper posting but there are several decoupage ones too.

Decoupage ( class 17 )

Due to ill health last month's second class had to be postponed. It DID mean that the next class was already ready to go on 24th September.

We made 3 cards using a Marianne decoupage paper. We made a square recess card, a long thin card from 2 strips joined at the top and a final more traditional card using only the decorated strip.

We managed to finish 2 of them and took the last one home to complete. Its hard to get these papers nowadays so it was a good opportunity to give them a go!
