Sometimes I make shaped cards using paper piecing and sometimes.es I replace pieces removed when die cutting.
Here are some examples...
A teapot card.
A design taken from a patchwork pattern.
A die cut owl ( x 3) with the pieces removed during cutting replaced.
A layered paper pieced butterfly (my own pattern.)
